What do we wear?
Dress like you would for an outdoor hike. Long pants and comfortable footwear like boots or tennis shoes are great. Avoid sandals and shorts, since we could land in open fields with thorns or stickers. It isn't noticeably cooler in the balloon during flight than it will be on the ground, so dress for the temperature of the day. Layered clothing in the cooler months is advisable.

What is the deposit for?
A cash deposit of 100% of the fare or a valid credit card is required to reserve your flight. Since we prepare a complete flight team consisting of pilot, ground crew, balloon and chase vehicle for your flight, we go to considerable expense before we actually fly you. If you decide to cancel or reschedule your flight, we must receive notice at least 48 hours prior to your flight. If we do not receive 48 hours notice and you are unable to fly for any reason, your credit card will be charged the full fare for all passengers or your cash deposit will be forfeited.
There is no additional cost to you if we must cancel or reschedule your flight due to weather conditions.

How can I arrange a surprise flight?
We are experts at keeping your flight a surprise! We love to fly folks for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, engagements or any special occasion. When you call to book your flight we'll tell you how we will make sure the recipient of the surprise will never know what you've planned.

Why can't we fly in the middle of the day?
Balloons fly early in the morning, at sunrise and late in the day, right before sunset during the cooler months. This is when the wind is calmest since the sun is low in the sky. It is not safe to fly in the middle of the day when the wind is stronger and more turbulent.

Can I book just one person?
We must have a minimum of two people for a flight, and are unable to accommodate individual passengers. Surely you know of someone who would love to go on a balloon ride with you - just ask your friends and you'll undoubtedly find someone to share this wonderful experience with!

Can I fly if I just had surgery or am pregnant?
Ballooning is an active sport requiring medium physical exertion. We do not fly passengers who have recently mended broken bones, surgery within six months of flight without their doctor's permission, or are pregnant.

Are there any age requirements?
We do not offer flights for children under 6 years of age. Most younger children are scared by the noise of the burner so be sure to have a responsible adult with children if they come out to watch the launch. Children under 12 can fly when accompanied by an adult. We take your safety very seriously and ask that you tell us if any passengers in your party are under 12 or over 65 as they will only be flown when the wind is forecast to be very light to calm.
